        - Create Natural Airflow

                - Open windows early in the morning and again in the evening once it’s cooler outside than inside.

                - Open windows on opposite sides of your home to create a cross-breeze.

                - Keep windows and curtains closed during the day to block out the heat.

        - Use Water Wisely

                - Fill a basin with cold water and soak your feet.

                - Take a lukewarm shower or rinse your wrists, feet, and neck with cold water.

                - Wet a cloth and place it on your neck.

        - Think Strategically

                - Turn off heat-generating appliances: like ovens, computers and TV.

                - Avoid dark colors.

                - Go barefoot indoors, bare feet help your body cool down.

                - Use a thin sheet instead of a duvet.

                - Sleep on the lowest floor of your home > heat rises.

                - Place your pillow inside a plastic bag in the fridge for 20 minutes before bedtime.
